Illuminators

As the source of light in a fiber optic system, the illuminator is critically important to the success of any fiber optic lighting installation. Wiedamark carries the most powerful, dependable and effective fiber optic illuminators in the world-second to none in delivering high quality light output performance. Wiedamark offers a wide range of lamp wattages from LED to 250W metal halide illuminators.

Our Halogen based illuminators are recommended for end glow applications such as star field ceilings, spot lights, and paver kits. The lamps range between 75-85 watts in power and have color wheel options in various colors.

Our Metal Halide based illuminators are best used for side glow applications such as cove, neon-like and pool lighting. Because of the need to have a very bright light source the lamps range 150 to 250 watts in power.

Finally, our LED illuminators are great light sources for small star field ceilings, costuming, pop displays, art projects and more. Because LED's require very little energy, they can be lit with a standard plug or even a 9 volt battery.
