Video System Manager

Video System Manager is a software and hardware solution for Color Kinetics Ethernet controlled systems, designed to support large scale “Video With Light™" installations. Video System Manager maps Color Kinetics lights and runs live professional-quality video shows from a variety of media sources. The system is comprised of two components, Video Management Tool and Video System Engine:

Video Management Tool

Video Management Tool is the software interface that configures a mapping grid of Color Kinetics lights. Each Color Kinetics light or node is converted into a single pixel. Video Management Tool provides a unique viewing feature that displays the video image with the approxmiate fit of the template and pixel resolution.

Video System Engine

Video System Engine is the hardware controller that processes live digital video, overlaying the video stream to the map and layout of Color Kinetics lights. Video System Engine acceps input from a variety of media sources, including media servers, DVD players, camcorders, and personal computers.
