Historic Integrity.

Constructed in 1926 as the city's second tallest building, the Historic Davis Building is a 20-story masterpiece of Dallas architectural history. WDM Lighting was tasked with modernizing its presence while meticulously respecting its heritage.

Partnering with Philips Color Kinetics, we created a sensitive architectural design that honors the building's original elegance while integrating sustainable illumination technology.

Custom Retrofit.

Led by Mark Reed-Walkup, our engineering team collaborated closely with the Dallas Landmark Commission. Every fixture was custom-matched to the building's sand and black finishes to blend with original 1920s details.

The dynamic system produces themed displays for holidays and city events, proving that historic heritage and modern innovation can coexist seamlessly.
