The Lights

The Lights is a vibrant, walk-able area that promotes entertainment and employment in West Fargo, ND. The Lights is a public private partnership with the goal was to create a type of partnership that would generate activity by public amenities that everyone can enjoy as well as a large tax base that would assist with funding the city, school, park and county through property tax.

As a part of the development several lighting elements were designed in including roof edge accent lighting for all the buildings. For this the owners turned to icon HD to implement a roof edge lighting solution as well as a lighting control platform for the entire development.

Icon HD partnered with Wiedamark to integrate silicon digital flex neon into the project as the roof edge accent lighting solution.

Icon HD also worked with Wiedamark to deploy the Madrix control system to operate all of the roof edge lighting as well as all other accent lighting throughout the plaza. This solution has given the city of West Fargo both the flexibility to control multiple lighting systems as well as the complexity to create dynamic scenes that utilize all the capabilities of the lighting system.
